This house was built by Nampo (蘭圃) Choi Cheol-gyeon(崔鐵堅)
It was originally a typical noble house with Daemunchae, Sarangchae, Jung-Sarangchae, Jeongchim, Araechae, Gobangchae, and Sadang (shrine) etc. all located in a row. But only the Jeongchim, Araechae and Sadang remained and the Sarangchae was restored recently. The Anchae (inner house) is a gambrel-roof tile-roofed house of 7-room in the front and 2-rooms on the side. Centering on Daecheong (the main floored room), there are a main living room and kitchen to the left, a small room and Jecheong to the right, and a half-room-sized Twaegan was installed in the front.
